SKETCH

I am a portrait artist.

I create collections that reflect my personal aspirations, where I magnify portraits of creations in a contemporary and humanistic spirit. Each of my works is unique, entirely handmade in my studio. Collections that I mainly exhibit in Madrid, Paris, or Biarritz.

I also create, at the request of my clients, family portraits in graphite pencil on paper, of their loved ones, their pets, or their favorite celebrities.

My portraits are realistic. They are characterized by an extremely detailed approach, which I strive to enhance every time. Reproducing the volume of a hairstyle, the texture of skin, the mischievousness of a look – this is what makes my work rich and gives me pleasure.

WHY HIRE A PORTRAIT ARTIST?

The answer lies in the question: what you want is not a snapshot, a moment in time. Photography can give you that.

What you want is the vision of an artist.

In the age of digital and multimedia, each of us has a device in our pocket capable of taking thousands of photos with impeccable definition. But do you look at those images? A portrait is not just another picture. It is a work of art. And as such, it is framed, displayed, gifted, preserved, and passed on.

Commissioning a portrait means seeing, through an artist's eyes, an image that has touched you in a new light. My goal is to add emotion, inspiration, and a different experience to something you already love.

HOW I WORK

My method

Drawing is often associated with outlines and lines. However, my work is all about giving depth, volume, and contrast to bring out the expression of a face and the emotion attached to it.

To achieve this, I sit at my table, and for hours, I gradually bring my work to life, layer by layer, from a blank sheet of paper.

It's to focus on this aspect of portraiture that I have chosen, among all creative techniques, the rigor and finesse of graphite pencil drawing.

MY CREATIONS

My style is characterized by an interest in humans in their daily lives, depicted realistically.

Drawing reality to restore its meaningful dimension.

My works are inspired by real models, from photo shoots I conduct myself or in collaboration with professional photographers.

Humanistic drawings that testify to the simple joys of life but also to its challenges and injustices. I seek models that fit the theme of the collection I am working on: often women in intimate and poetic settings.
